Every Escape model comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a drive mode selector, including Eco, Sport, Normal, Snow/Sand, and Slippery. Traction control and Electric Power-Assisted Steering are also standard across the Escape lineup. Every trim level comes standard with front-wheel drive, but each of them can be equipped with an available all-wheel-drive option.
