What’s New in This Version?

The team at Ford is offering 2020 Ford Ranger fans new options. A brand-new FX2 package is now part of the lineup and it’s for rear-wheel-drive Rangers only. This package is ideal for people who love to go off-road. The FX2 package comes with performance enhancements, including off-road tires, a suspension that’s perfect for trails, and an electronic-locking rear differential. The package also includes body-side decals for added style.

Another exciting development is that the 2020 Ranger has a new accessory, which is a pickup box extender. If you want a little extra room, choosing this accessory will be a smart move. Color choices have also evolved. A trio of new exterior hues are available, and they are Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Race Red, and Iconic Silver. Overall, there are nine colors to choose from, so you’ll be able to get the look that you want.

Three Trims to Choose From

To meet the needs of a diverse array of consumers, Ford is providing three trims to choose from. XL is the base trim and it delivers so much value, thanks to quick acceleration, a smooth ride, and some amazing standard features. When you choose the XL, you’ll access standard forward-collision warning, plus standard automated emergency braking. This trim gets 26 mpg on the highway and 21 mpg in the city. The base trim is equipped with a three-liter EcoBoost engine with auto start-stop technology as well as an electronic 10-speed transmission with tow/haul mode.

The XLT is the midlevel trim and it gets the same mpg as the base trim. It also has the same EcoBoost engine and 10-speed transmission. When you choose this trim, you’ll get all the base features of the XL, plus a SYNC infotainment system, 4G Wi-Fi hot spot, Ford Co-Pilot 360, a six-speaker audio system, a 4.2-inch productivity screen, and a forward and reverse sensing system.

The premium trim is called Lariat. It includes all XLT features, along with SYNC 3 infotainment, an 8-inch touch-screen display, heated front seats, leather upholstery, and intelligent access with push-button start.

Spacious and Comfortable Interior

You’ll love the way that it feels to be behind the wheel of your 2020 Ford Ranger. The cabin is roomy and comfortable with cabin controls that are so easy to find and utilize. You may choose from an extended cab called a SuperCab or go for a crew cab, which is called a SuperCrew. If you want a truck that’s family-friendly, you’ll like the SuperCrew option as it seats five with four doors. The SuperCab seats four, along with a couple of smaller half-doors.
