2021 Ford Bronco in Front of Mountains in Cactus GrayIt’s back! After a lengthy hiatus, the Ford Bronco has returned for the 2021 model year. Drivers who want another option when it comes to go-anywhere SUVs that can handle the tough situations you put them through are particularly excited about the advent of the new generation of Broncos. Here’s a quick rundown of what the new Bronco has to offer you and your sense of adventure.

Choose Your Own Adventure

One of the coolest aspects of the 2021 Ford Bronco is that it’s highly customizable to allow you to build your perfect off-roading SUV. The Bronco gives you seven trim levels to choose from, each with its own style and list of features. When you shop for your Bronco, you’ll have the option between the two- or four-door body styles.

Standard Strength

If you choose a two-door model, your Bronco will be equipped with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that produces 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The four-door models boast a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 that pumps out 310 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. The standard seven-speed manual transmission features a gear specifically designed for rock crawling. A 10-speed automatic transmission with the Trail Control off-road cruise control system is also available.

Off-Road Gear

The new Bronco is designed to take on some of the toughest trails and environments, especially the higher up the trim levels you progress. Every Bronco model comes standard with a four-wheel-drive system that can take your rock-crawling ability to the next level.

Every Bronco also comes standard with G.O.A.T. drive modes thanks to its Terrain Management System. These Go Over Any type of Terrain drive modes include Sand, Slippery, and Sport, allowing you to fine-tune how your SUV tackles the path ahead. If you opt for the Badlands trim level, you’ll add the Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl drive modes and replace Sport with Baja. You can also utilize off-roading features such as the one-pedal trail drive system, a front stabilizer bar disconnect feature, and head-duty bash plates.

In short, the Ford Bronco is well equipped to take on some of the toughest adventures out there and more so the higher up the trim levels you go.

Interior Features

Let the sunshine and fresh air into your cabin with the Bronco’s removable doors and roof. The rugged design of the cockpit and dashboard create a safari-like atmosphere for every Bronco. If your adventures get muddy, pull out the available in-floor drain plugs and hose off your washable floors. Give your passengers a larger amount of space with the four-door model, which seats up to five people. Whether you choose the leather-trimmed upholstery, the marine-grade vinyl, or stick to the durable cloth material, the Bronco’s space lends itself well to your wanderlust drives.
