Wondering what to do in Loudon County? Visit Lenoir City Park! Located at 6707 City Park Dr in Lenoir City, TN, this 33-acre park offers a wonderful array of recreational activities and a beautiful waterfront view.
1. Go Fish
This park is located on the Fort Loudon Dam and Marina. There’s a special fishing pier available where you can cast your line and try your luck. When you’re ready for a break from the weather, there are seven picnic shelters to choose from.
2. Get Active on the Court
There are two tennis courts available for your enjoyment. There’s also a beach volleyball court available for fun in the sun. A sandy court reduces impact, sparing your joints those jarring jolts.
3. Take a Walk
Lenoir Park has a walking trail. Stretch your legs and admire the waterfront view. You’ll likely see some ducks and friendly geese too.

There are two playgrounds available for your kids to enjoy.

The Lenoir City Movies in the Park series features one movie night each month. These events start in May and run through September. These family-friendly movies are completely free of charge! They even offer free popcorn, candy, and drinks.
6. Stay Overnight
There are four cabins available in the park: Eagle, Bear, Love Shack, and Sunflower. These cabins cost $100 per night. Pets are welcome! Fire pits are available for a magical night under the stars.
7. Rock the Docks
Rockin’ the Docks is a yearly festival beloved by everyone who lives near Fort Loudon Lake. Thousands of people attend this all-day event to enjoy live music, food vendors, fireworks, and more. This event is fun for the whole family, with a large area set aside as a dedicated play space for children. No alcohol is permitted.
8. Attend the Arts & Crafts Festival
The annual Lenoir City Arts & Crafts Festival features over 240 crafters. These artisans sell ceramics, clothes, glassware, jewelry, baskets, and more! There are a wide variety of food vendors each year as well, selling delicious treats and refreshing drinks.
