Letting your kids find a new furry, feathery, or scaly friend to observe is easy with all the species that call this zoo home. The zoo also holds events for Christmas, Halloween, and other holidays for animal lovers to come and watch. Zoo Knoxville is constantly making improvements and working toward its goal of protecting as many animals as possible, especially the world’s endangered species.

World’s Fair Park

If you want to dive into history or find something a little different to do with the kids, the World’s Fair Park is the perfect place for you. This location was where the 1982 World’s Fair was held, and now it serves as a popular getaway destination. The beautifully maintained historic site has many fun things to see, including a giant Rubik’s Cube, performances throughout the year, an amphitheater, and more. Make sure to keep an eye on the schedule of events to find something that interests you and your kids.
