2021 Ford Bronco

Ford offers the Bronco in seven trims, each designed for a specific use. The Base trim is ready for customization while still giving you the basics like removable doors and roof, standard four-wheel-drive, and available 35-inch tires. The Big Bend trim is perfect for mainstream off-road excursions, plus it adds some style to the interior. On the Outer Banks trim, you get upscale styling with high-gloss 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlights and taillights, powder-coated tube steps, and body-color fender flares. Each Black Diamond trim is ready for the rough stuff with steel bumpers, rock rails, and heavy-duty skid plates. Take the Badlands trim on your extreme off-road adventures. It builds off the Black Diamond, adding Bilstein position-sensitive shocks, front and rear locking differentials, and stabilizer bar disconnect. You can also choose between 35- and 33-inch mud or all-terrain tires for this variant. The Wildtrak trim is comfortable on the road with its turbocharged engine and sport-inspired styling. The First Edition trim has all the best Bronco features wrapped into one premium SUV.

Ford's 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine is standard in every Bronco. This inline four-cylinder engine combines with a seven-speed manual transmission with a crawler gear to supply 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. An available 2.7-liter V-6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission delivers an impressive 310 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.

Ford tested the Bronco in the tortuous Johnson Valley Desert, home of the legendary King of the Hammers off-road race. The Bronco also took on the Baja 1000, one of the most grueling off-road endurance races in the world. Its base 4x4 system is ready for any adventure you can imagine, which you can upgrade with several performance packages like the Sasquatch for unprecedented capability. Available G.O.A.T. (goes over any type of terrain) modes let you conquer any obstacle.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel and leather seats with heating and ventilation are standard on some trims, while others feature the Marine-grade vinyl. An optional 12-inch LCD touch screen syncs all your smart devices for hands-free operation. Now you can make calls, access navigation, and stream your favorite music with voice commands.

Every Bronco comes with Ford Co-Pilot 360, a suite of driver-assist technologies that use radar and cameras to monitor the car's surroundings. These systems will alert you to potential hazards and, in some cases, provide gentle steering correction or emergency brake support to help lessen or avoid a possible impact. The suite includes pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking that scans the road ahead and a blind-spot information system that alerts you when vehicles enter your blind spots. Lane-keeping assist tracks your Bronco within marked lanes, alerting you when it detects an unintentional drift.
