2020 Ford Explorer

Four trim levels makes it easy to find the perfect 2020 Ford Explorer for you. Starting with the XLT, you'll enjoy exterior features like LED low and high beams and taillights, automatic headlights, a black mesh grille insert with chrome bars, a power liftgate, power heated side mirrors with integrated LED turn signal indicators, roof rack side rails, and 18-inch sparkle silver aluminum wheels. Choose the ST trim option for a sportier style and drive. This option comes with quad chrome exhaust tips and ST projection lamps added to the side mirrors. For all the top-of-the-line features, go with the Platinum trim level. This option comes with satin-aluminum body cladding accents, a unique satin-aluminum grille, heated power side mirrors with a memory feature for the driver's side, and 20-inch bright aluminum wheels.

There are three different engines available with the 2020 Ford Explorer. The base option is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission that creates up to 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. This engine can tow up to 5,300 pounds when properly equipped. ST and Platinum models come with a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine that offers up to 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque with the ST model and 365 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque with the Platinum. The V-6 can tow up to 5,600 pounds when properly equipped. A hybrid engine is also available for the 2020 Ford Explorer. This naturally aspirated V-6 engine is paired with the same 10-speed transmission as the other two and offers up to 5,000 pounds of towing capacity.

Features like hill descent control and a terrain management system help make sure you stay in control of the vehicle even during difficult driving conditions. With four-wheel drive and its terrain management system equipped, you'll be able to change how your Explorer handles the road with the simple turn of a dial. Different drive modes, like normal, trail, sport, eco, deep snow/sand, tow/haul, and slippery, can be easily engaged.

Seat up to seven people in the 2020 Ford Explorer. With the available power-folding third-row seat, you can easily switch between carrying cargo and passengers.
